How much does 15 Degrees North charge?

Although we dislike vague answers on costs and time scales, different projects do have different time, expertise and budgetary requirements. As we customise and tailor our services to your exact needs, no two projects will have the same budget.

So, how much do you typically charge? If I have £300 to get started can I get a website created and marketed, for example? I have a new business and I just want to start small.

It is possible to get a DIY website up and running for such a small budget if you’re doing most of it yourself but it is unlikely to have much traction getting you search visitors, leads, and sales. To be honest, with a budget under £2,000 we’re probably not the right fit for you. Our average budget for an SEO client is £1500 to £2750 setup and £1,500 per month but this is dependant on the market and how competitive it is for you. Google Adwords and Facebook advert campaigns are dependant on the level of involvement.

It’s true that I’m looking for a website that performs well on Google, brings in customers to see my content and shows my brand in the best light. I’m not really sure how it all comes together. Can you let me know how the budget is used?

Certainly. In fact, 15Degrees-North was created with transparency as a cornerstone of our business. It’s one reason that we retain our customers and help build their business for the long haul.

OK, great! Break it down for me, please!

You first need to realise that 15Degrees-North is not merely an SEO and Digital Marketing company. We can create and work on your website, sure, but we also offer a much more complete service.

We learn everything there is to know about your business so that we can accurately and effectively market it on the web and help you make the most of the Internet’s reach. We begin this process by building a web strategy for you. This usually costs around £750.

What does the web strategy stage involve?

The web strategy is a stand-alone report on the state of your company’s online presence – where you are now and the steps to be taken to get to where you want to be.

Where other firms might rush off to sign you up on a recurring SEO contract and spend your budget without getting a clear picture of what you want to achieve and what you need to do, we instead break the plan down into steps and show you exactly what we plan to do to make your business really fly on the Internet. This also ensures that no expense is ever wasted.

OK, I agree that creating a plan makes sense. It’s useful for me to be able to see what is going to happen and be able to manage timescales and expectations. Does it include the budget for the work to be completed? I like to know what I’m signing up for.

Yes, the initial web strategy stage includes the expected budget for each action we’ll take. If you’re asking us to build you a website from scratch, most of the time the initial cost will be between £6,000 and £15,000 for a complete site with written content. After this, you may wish to use our lead generation and search engine marketing services on an on-going basis. The costs for such are also outlined in the web strategy document.

Search engine marketing? Lead generation? What do these mean?

Search engine marketing refers to steps we take to improve your rankings on search engines like Google so that you get more people coming to your website for searches that are important to you. This is generally called SEO. Lead generation encompasses everything about getting a person to see your products and services and turning them into a potential customer.

To remain competitive online you need to allocate an on-going budget for search engine marketing (SEO) and lead generation so that people see your website and products rather than your competitors’ products. Added to this mix is Digital Marketing which encompasses Facebook advertising and presence, Twitter, Instagram and Pinterest in the main.

How much does the search engine marketing and lead generation stage cost?

We offer two services when it comes to on-going search engine marketing and lead generation. The first is our consulting service that can be availed for as little as £500 a month. Most of our clients, however, choose to allocate a bigger monthly budget, around £1,500 – £3,000.

What is the difference between the consulting service and the full service most clients choose?

A lot of work goes into making search engines like Google consider your website important for particular searches. This is called inbound marketing and includes writing blogs, creating content, making videos, doing research, getting inbound links to your site and making useful on-site tools.

With the advisory service, we will advise you on what is needed but you will handle this work yourself or hire subcontractors to do it for you. With our full service, our experienced, knowledgeable team will do all of this work for you.

OK, can you sum up the costs again, please?

Typically, the strategic plan will cost £750, the initial build of the website will cost between £6,000 and £15,000, that is creation, design and content and then on-going marketing costs will be up to your discretion. For £500 per month, we can advise you how to best market your business online, for around £2,000-£3,000 per month we can do it all for you.

Thanks, I think I’ve got it.

Great. In fact, as an additional incentive, we’re offering a FREE search engine marketing review to discuss any other queries you might have. Think of it like a mini strategy plan where we send you over a FREE report on the current state of your business. You can then discuss your ideas with one of our experts.

Excellent! Where do I sign up!

Get in touch by using one of our contact forms and we’ll quickly arrange your review. Don’t worry, there’s no sales pitch or follow-up calls; just an opportunity for us to show you how much we can help your business thrive. It’s up to you if you engage with us further.
