Do you know ive been a student of internet marketing from the time I bought Joe karbos “The lazy mans way to riches” and what I have noticed is this. The sales letter invariably promises to show you

How to…

However when you get the course Ebook CD whatever the marketer cleverly switches back to

What to…

I call it the How to What to switch. What do I mean here?

Ok ill give you an example.

“One of the ways to get massive amounts of traffic to your websites is to recruit super affiliates! Offer them a massive commision and the offer of further products for an upsell”

Ok that’s a what to. For most of us when we buy Ebooks or how to manuals we want to be told How to, not What to. I want to be told this…

“One of the ways to get massive amounts of traffic to your websites is to recruit super affiliates! Offer them a massive commission. I have compiled a list of super affiliates that I know and also some useful resources where you can find and recruit affiliates to your cause. I find it helpful if you approach a new JV partner with this style of email blah blah.. Do you see the difference here?

One approach tells me what to do and the other (what we all want) tells me actually how to do it in step by step easy to understand terms! If you’re writing a course or Ebook tell your customers how to do what you promised in your sales letter not just what to do!

Mark.
