15Degrees-North thinks green and has established programs at the corporate level to meet the green goals it has set in place. They only use the resources that are necessary and keep waste to a minimum always keeping in mind the effects of their business on the environment.

Responsible Recycling

15Degrees-North disposes of all hardware in compliance with WEEE regulations. They recycle paper, cans, cardboard and plastic. To cut down on paper, all communications and bills are done via email or digital fax to keep 15Degrees-North paperless.

Carbon Offsetting

The Corporate policy of 15Degrees-North is to keep the carbon footprint to a minimum and to that means has kept its use of carbon to a minimum. They support the International Tree Foundation and have a commitment to plant over 100 trees within the next year.

Green Hardware

At the 15Degrees-North data center in the United Kingdom, hot and cold air flows are separated which allows for cooling efficiency to be improved by 40%, which reduces the environmental tracking of our services. A managed power system is used to make sure that non-running hardware does not use resources that it does not need to.
