There are several useful things you can use the data this report wll give you for.

  • The report will show you the Total number of pages in each search engines index that contains a link to your website.
  • Take some time to look at the sites that are linking to you. This will give you a view of the amount and also the quality of pages linking to you. Once you know who is linking to you and what pages they are linking to, you can better understand the areas of your site that are performing well.
  • You can also use this report to see how are your competitors performing in search engines? If they are performing well, you can look at the sites that are linking to them and then approach those same sites for links.

This tool SHOULD NOT be used to:

  • Determine the value of a websites domain name. This tool is simply provided as a convenience to you and the user should take note that not all Links on the internet are equal in the eyes of the search engines.
  • Track your websites link popularity on an excessive basis! Checking your website daily or even weekly is not a good use of your time.
