PayPal SPAM
I have to say that I do indeed hate spammers.
But scammers are a different kettle of fish altogether! These scum are trying to steal from me and you! This morning I recieved this little email in my inbox and I have to say that I did indeed click on the link in my haste (and anger) that my paypal account had been suspended!
Click on the picture to read it :) I had to scale it down to fit!
I have been using the net for 20 years (it was called the Arpanet back then) and would consider myself to be very experienced. But couple tiredness, anger and haste together and volia even I can get fooled into clicking a link ehh!
The link actually failed but if you click it it trys to load a sexpics domain Like this..

Marks moral of today is to chill and slow down :)

Even after all these years, ppl are still falling for the "orward this to 10 fiends and receive a crate of champagne/tickets to Disneyland/new Nokia" scam. I remember it already from the early days on CompuServe. Plus ça change..

The scam you've experienced is pretty common. When I get one of those e-mails, I always hover my mouse pointer over the URL, and without fail, the address displayed is different than the URL in the e-mail.

I have gotten a variety of those, purporting to be from Citibank, eBay, Morgan Stanley, and yes, from PayPal. I clicked on the eBay one for the same reason, and actually entered my account name and password before I realized what I was doing! I alerted eBay and changed my info, but I'm pretty disgusted with the whole thing.
