Internet tech: Google Blows RSS Away!
News Just in is that Google is Dropping RSS in favour of Atom.
For me it makes no difference to be honest because my feeds are piped through FeedBurner and FeedBurner suports ALL the formats. But I can understand that the RSS community would be miffed at that descision!
Essentialy its all about control :) Google is just flexing its muscles. But it does go to show just how fast internet technology moves!

This has been a big deal for a while now. Feedburner does the job for many news readers, but I found that it didn't always take care of everyone. I had to go out and write my own Atom 2 RSS conversion utility after running into problems. Also, most search engines out there for news feeds don't like atom, and Feedburner wasn't working rite with a few of them as well.

I've had no trouble with Atom or RSS but then I use Tristana Feed Reader to read my feeds. In fact since your site has to do with home business I will be adding it to my feeds also.
