Internet Marketing: Do you bother to reply to customer enquirys!

Hi All

This past week I have been in the market for a complex piece of software that will allow me to use the Royal Mail Postzon data file. Anyway I sourced no less than 5 companies from Royal mail's own website and emailed them all to give me details on their product. To date after 4 days I have had NO replys at all from all 5!

So here I am with credit card in hand begging to give one of them my money and getting zero response :(

I have to say this happens an awful lot when I email companies on the net and got me to wondering why this could be. I think (I might be wrong) that it is because although companies have gone with the flow and created a web presense they have not gone with the flow with regards to their mindset, in such that they still regard phone enquirys as real sales enquirys and emails as not. I might be wrong here and it might just be that the person whose email box these messages go to just can't be bothered to do their job :)

Mark.
